Isaac is a little Mr Man-about-town. He is much more confident there days. He yells "hi" to anyone he sees. He is very popular at daycare, and is quit the ladies man. His speech is coming along and he is getting easier to understand. He's also putting longer sentences together. I just asked him to come and sit with me and he said "No, I want to sit with Daddy". Impressive. He is starting to get a few freckles across his nose and cheeks. He is so English!! :) I often look at his flawless soft baby skin and cannot imagine that one day he will have to shave. So hard to imagine that. Like a typical boy Isaac likes to play with anything that he can make into a sword. He will try to sword fight with a stick, a ruler, a fork, and anything else remotely long and straight. He also makes 'gun' sounds and pretends to shoot us. Very different from raising a girl!

Freckles, weapons, and wobbly teeth!
My babies are growing up! Ana has shot up and out of all her shoes and clothes. She has always been a tall drink of water, but now she is a good 2-3" taller than Cami. The school uniform that was comically ;arge at the start of the scool year now fits just right! Ana also has two wobbly teeth at the bottom. She is excited about this as she has been waiting for her baby teeth to come out for a looong time. She's the only kid in first grade with all her baby teeth apparently. Worst of all on the growing up front, she now shys away from my kisses and wipes them off :( I'm not allowed to kiss her in public anymore (SO embarassing) and any kiss I manage to sneak on her is frantically scrubbed off. She does still like to sit on my lap though, although that is like being crushed by an elephant!

Break-up
Ana broke up with Jacob. Poor girl has been in love with him since Kindergarden. Apparently he doesn't like her (which, to be fair, he has been pretty adament about since Kindergarden). She finally saw the light and broke off their (imaginary) relationship. She is channelling her angst into song.
