Fighting

It finally happened! They started fighting. I have had to separate them, yell at them, and divide the back seat of the car in half and tell them to keep on their own side (well, Ana that is. Isaac doesn't understand, he just wants to pull his sister's hair). When Ana is playing Isaac walks over and destroys whatever she is doing. So she attacks him. When Ana takes something of hers away from Isaac he clings to it and squeals. When Isaac sees Ana all he wants to do is headbutt her or wrestle her. When does this stop? 18 years from now??

Signing

Awww, Isaac has learned some baby signs. We whipped out the Baby Signing Times DVDs that Ana watched as a baby and he cottoned right on to a couple of the signs. He walks around singing the title song and making the sign for Baby. He uses this to ask for the DVD to be put on. His other biggie is "more". He signs more all the time. More play, more food, and his favourite MORE COOKIES.

Last day of school

Ana has finished her first year of school. She is officially a FIRST GRADER (she tells anyone and everyone that!).  For comparison here is her first day of school.  Wow! She has grown physically, but she has grown so much more developmentally. She is such a big girl now! So smart and independent.

I told her to stand straight (she was not happy) so I can use the stairs to make year to year size comparisons!

Diploma in hand and ready for summer!!!

She is in love with Jacob (can you tell?)

Ocean was looking sharp in a white suit!

Fame! I wanna live foreverrrrrr

Sports Day

This morning I went to Ana's school sports day (called field day here in the US).  I am very disappointed to report there was no Mums and Dads race ;)  Boooo.  I was one of the volunteers helping out and it was great to see Ana having so much fun.  Last year she had sports day on June 1st, the day of the tornado. I remember it was sooooo hot and muggy that day (little did we know what was to come) and I had little baby Isaac with me and we were trying to seek shade under a tree! This year the weather threatened rain so it was held indoors.

With all the chaos that followed last year I forgot to post pictures. I'll post them here because it is amazing how much she has changed in a year! Wow!

Field Day 2011
Ana and Cami, always BFFs!

Go Ana, go!

Ready for the sack race

Field Day 2012

I was helping out so I don't have many pics, and they are taken on my phone so they are not great!

Ana and Cami still BFFs, but check out the attitude!
(gloves were for the tug of war)

Posing. Look at those long legs

Ana was NOT happy that some other girls crashed her and Cami's photo. And let the school cliques and cattiness begin!
