Last night Ana threw the mother of all fits because I wouldn't let her have chocolate ice cream for dinner. She kept opening the freezer and pulling it out and I kept putting it back. Finally I got tired of this little game and put the toddler lock on the freezer. Cue face down wailing!!
James waalked in from outside and asked what all the fuss was about. I told Ana "Why don't you tell Dad why you are crying." She seemed to immediately realise how stupid she was being and shyly said "I just wanted to get something out of the freezer".
"Yes, but what were you tring to get Ana"
"Something"
"What was it?"
pause
"Bread"
"Bread???"
"Yes, I only wanted to get bread"
Ohh you little liar! I couldn't help laughing, and then Ana was trying so hard not to laugh herself. It was hilarious!!
Apparently it is a sign of intellegence if they start LYING TO YOU before they even turn three, right?
