Ana is already learning to walk with the aid of her baby zimmer frame!

Crawling, Climbing, and Cruising

Ana has mastered crawling and pulling up and is now pretty close to cruising around the furniture. She's so fast she's getting hard to keep up with!
I've not captured a good one on video yet, but here's one attempt

Tooth video

I finally found my camera - down the back of the couch! There was a video on it of the day Ana got her first tooth. You can't see the tooth, but the video is cute anyway!

Pesky!

Ana is into EVERYTHING at the moment. She is such a pest! She causes real havoc in her walker. She has tripped me up countless times. These are older pictures cos I still can't find my camera, but you get the idea!



This last one is funny because she was chasing the animals in her walker. Poor Briscoe! At least he was smart enough to figure out that she can't get up the stairs yet, so that is his safe zone!

Erm...Make that 2 teeth!!

Well.....they aren't 2 full teeth yet but she has 2 shards of teeth poking through on the bottom! How cute :) At this rate she'll have a full set by next week!

Oh, and sorry for the lack of photos but I've lost my camera!

First tooth!!

Ana's first tooth finally popped through yesterday. It's her bottom left (I think).

Ana and Lucas

We babysat Ana's buddy Lucas last week. She is so funny with him because she is so aggressive. She crawls all over him, grabs him and even tries to kiss him! It is very cute though :)





She even crawled over and sat in his lap one time! He didn't seem to mind !

4 years

Today is our 4 year wedding anniversary. You may remember the picture I posted last year of us holding up 3 fingers - well I'm making that our tradition.....a self taken picture to mark to occasion. This year of course there is 1 more of us :) The days are more stressful now and sometimes it's hard to remember to say all the nice things in between sleep deprivation, worrying about Ana, and deciding whose turn it is to change her! But on the up side we aren't just a couple anymore, we are parents, and that makes us feel closer than ever. Ana has brought us so much joy, and our little family is complete!

Bye Nana :(

Ana has been spoiled the past two weeks since her Nana has been here. She has stayed home from daycare and had tons of attention. We've been spoiled too with getting all our laundry done for us! Ana has made loads of progress in 2 weeks and is now a fully fledged crawler and can pull up to stand! We dropped my mum off at the airport today and Ana screamed the whole way home - so I guess she is not too happy about seeing her go!

Hair cut

Ana's hair was so long it was getting in her eyes - so we gave her a haircut! As you can see she's not too thrilled with the results!

Briscoe

We had a bit of a scare with our 'other baby' yesterday. I woke up to find the house covered in vomit, including a few piles of bright red blood. We rushed Briscoe over to the vets where he had to spend the day hooked up to an IV and being pumped full of antibiotics. James and I were so sure he was going to die, we were beside ourselves. Well, luckily the vet got to the bottom of it and he is home now and seems back to normal. Thank God!

His shaved leg is cracking us up - It makes his paw look like a glove!!

First bump

Ana got her first bump to the head and bruise (above her eye) the other day while her Nana was teaching her to pull up . I guess I should have known better than to hire an English nanny :)

Good week

Ana has been enjoying staying home with her Nana every day and is really progressing. She is now a crawler (still slow and shaky but she gets where she needs to go). She also pulls up on things and can stand up for a few seconds by herself.



Lastly Ana has really mastered the walker! She zooms everywhere in that thing and has been terrorizing the animals in it! She can maneuver around obstacles and pull some advanced moves such as a three point turn! She is very curious and seems to be able to cause all kinds of mischief in the walker....such as pulling the bin over, getting into cupboards, and tripping us up! She reminds me of a crazy old lady in a motorized chair!


For some reason she is dying to get into Briscoe's food. Here she is barging him out of the way!
