Apple Picking with Friends!

A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and met up with friends to go apple picking. Ana, Gulia and Tyler are all August 2006 kids (Ana and Tyler actually share a birthday) and their Mum's are my awesome friends! So happy they live up here in Mass!

17 weeks

For the record - still feeling like complete and utter crap. Retching, vomiting, and had a constant headache going on 4 weeks now. Yippee!

Happy Birthday Mummy

For the first (and last) time in my life I was pregnant on my birthday, so I got to do some guilt free eating!! We went out for a Chinese meal then James and Ana made cupcakes and we all decorated them. Ana also helped me blow out my candles.

Ana keeps crying for her Nana and Grandad. She also keeps asking if she can go to England to see Mimi and Mel. She doesn't understand the distance and cost involved :( Poor thing. This makes me so sad.

Mooose cake!

Ana insisted she wanted a "chocolate moose cake" for her birthday. I assumed she meant a cake made of chocolate moose. When she caught sight of her chocolate cake she crumpled and whined "It doesn't have a face"

Say what? You wanted an actual moose??


Luckily Nana came to the rescue and magically russled up a Chocolate Moose Cake!

An Ill Fated Beach Trip!

Just a bit late posting this!!

Mel and I took Ana and Mia to the beach. A heatwave was forecast. All went well for about 20 mins. There was building sandcastles and digging for treasure...

And Ana decided she wanted to be buried in sand!

But then the heavens opened! We got sooooooo soaked!

First Day of Pre-K

Ana is having a great time at pre-K. She wakes up excited to go every day and is already coming home full of stuff she has learned :) We have also been spending some fun Mummy-Daughter time now that I pick her up earlier and we have a couple of hours to kill before Daddy gets home. She is such a joy :)

14 weeks

Hanging out with the cousins!

This weekend we went to visit family in Connecticut (James' cousins and Aunt and Uncle) and had a wonderful time. Ana had a total blast with her cousins! Well, first cousins once removed but that is a mouthful so we'll just say cousins...even though Mia is the only (and best) cousin :) Ana has been asking to go back already so I think we'll be seeing plenty of them!

Updates

Nausea is starting to subside, but has been replace with migraines. I have now had a migraine for 3 days straight and counting :( I still need to eat like a horse to keep from feeling queasy (and I don't mean I'm eating hay).

Ana and I went swimming in a lake this week. It was beautiful! There is something so cool about swimming in open water, I love it. The fish, weeds and other "things" in the water, not so much, but it is worth it! We had a great day.

I have started my new job and I'm loving it! Although it has been hella hard, this move was the right decision for us. James loves his job too, and Ana is really happy here.

Ana is now riding a big girl bike!

Ana officially has more friends here than James and I put together.

Baby - 13 weeks

Wee one would NOT move into position for the ultrasound. S/he was chilling out on my left side huddled into a corner. I got prodded for a good 40 min, had to roll on my side, get up, pee, walk around, cough, and STILL baby was sleeping in the same position! Ana is going to be sorely disappointed... I feel like this is a boy!
