Walking!

Isaac is properly walking now! He takes 4-5 steps, then decides he's faster on all fours and drops into a speed crawl. Why no video of this you might ask? Becuase he will not perform. Attempts to capture him walking usually end up like this...

Sometimes her work will make me laugh. Below she was supposed to draw something in a classroom and she drew a pool! And then she was supposed to colour a picture of herself and she was not happy to be in trousers so she went ahead and gave herself a dress, and super long hair. I love it!

Sharing

Ana and Isaac are so sweet together. Isaac adores his big sister so much, she can get a belly laugh out of him like no-one else can. And Ana loves him too. She is protective of him, and caring, and loves to clown around making him laugh.  A few days ago I fell down the stairs carrying Isaac. It was terrible! We both took a really hard fall and Ana shot out of her room and ran downstairs in floods of tears worried about her baby brother.  The only time he annoys her is when she has her dolls all set up playing a game and he wades in and knocks them over. She's not a fan of that, so then we get a glimpse into the future sibling scraps we will have to deal with. Luckily he's small enough now that she picks him up and carries him to the other side of the room. Of course he thinks this is a game and scampers back after her to the dolls house!

First maths test

This was a couple of months ago, but Ana got 100% on her first maths test! :)  Yay!

Star Words

James is taking Ana to the movies tomorrow on a "date" to see Star Wars (she calls it Star Words). Ana is so excited she already has her best dress and boots on, and says she's sleeping in them. She is so wonderfully sweet I could cry right now. May she always always be so excited to spend time with her Daddy!
