Isaac's 4 month check up

Isaac is 15lb 110z and 26 inches long.

He and Ana are eerily similar. I just checked Ana's 4 month stats and she was 15lb 10oz and 26 inches!! They are also doing the exact same things (drooling, fist chewing, etc). Isaac is getting a healthier start in life though. At this age Ana had already battled numerous colds, ear infections, and RSV :(

Scottish Day in New England - yeah, they're freaking everywhere

This was cool, they would practice before going to the testing grounds

And they are everywhere.  I had to convince Ana to come with me to see the closing ceremonies.  Anyone who likes bagpipes (ooooh me!) should go to this thing.  They could stage and invasion with this crowd.  Ana Ana got to hold two real swords and they were heavy.  Too cool!

And Ana made a friend (go figure).  She wanted to follow her into the bathroom.  This park is awesome!!!

This is one pretty kid

Scottish Games for the Family

I'd show you the video of my victorious march across that oh so thin bar but Ana took the video in 5 parts so I'll spare you.

And Ana's response to the upset.

Fun with baloons

doughnuts for all

So the sad part here is that I bough 6 doughnuts to let Ana discover which doughnut from school she liked (dark on the outside with a light center) and it was none of them.  The even sadder part is that 5 of the six doughnuts languished in our kitchen for 2 days and turned into little bricks that the birds wouldn't even touch.  Sorry flour.

Ready to Rumble

Mom Gone . . . Oh My God

Ana didn't take long to throw a fit after mommy left.  Had to carry her out of the Mall on my shoulder.  Oh well, had a heart to heart about why she can't tell me where to park the stroller, sit, and how threatening to cry is not a valid bargaining chip.  All this while pulled over in an abandoned parking lot besides a Connecticut State prison while feeding Eye-z in the back seat.

So we went back and she discovered a clothing store.  Mel, she's got your sense of style girl and she's going to bankrupt us on clothing.  I only hope she turns out to be nutty-crunchy and buys stuff at Goodwill in order to customize.

Happy as usual - Ho Hum

The massive Air Force cargo planes are really cool here, and the f-15s, and the Chinooks!  I love being near an Air Force base.

Good playground, lots of multicultural interaction.

Free water park, free baseball in the background, too bad someone was shot on that mound execution style a few days before this photo (who knew).  I would refer to this as an up and coming neighborhood :-).  With over a hundred million sunk into the hospital right around the corner, I hope so.

HELP ME SEYMOUR!!!

Just before the Springfield Jazz Festival

Artsy Photo and photo-shopped too!
