Still feeling sick
So I'm non-stop nausous. Every day, 24 hours a day. I didn't even get out of my PJ's today. So I apologise to folks in England who I've not been to visit. Gee, I bet James can't wait for me to get home! I'm so desperate I'm wearing accupressure wristbands at the moment. Wish me luck!

I've gone off tea
So I've totally gone off tea....How weird is that? I never thought I'd see the day when a cup of tea knocked me sick! Just the thought of a cup of tea is making me want to hurl. I'm also not too fond of coffee, hot chocolate, meat, curry, chocolate, and...horror...bacon butties.
Things I'm craving:
Grapes
Kiwi fruit
Coco Pops
Apple juice
Crumpets
I'm also having mad sneezing fits and a runny nose. Maybe I'm allergic to the baby.

Joke of the day
I figured every so often I ought to break up the monotony of waiting for my belly to grow and whining about morning sickness with a joke. Here's my first one:
Two Irish nuns have just arrived in USA by boat and one says to the other, "I hear that the people in this country actually eat dogs." "Odd," her companion replies, "but if we shall live in America, we might as well do as the Americans do." Nodding emphatically, the mother superior points to a hot dog vendor and they both walk towards the cart. "Two dogs, please," says one. The vendor is only too pleased to oblige and he wraps both hot dogs in foil and hands them over the counter. Excited, the nuns hurry over to a bench and begin to unwrap their "dogs."The mother superior is first to open hers. She begins to blush and then, staring at it for a moment, leans over to the other nun and whispers cautiously: "What part did you get?

Morning Sickness Blows!
Ok - So after thinking I was going to get lucky and avoid it morning sickness kicked in with a vengeance this weekend! I don't know why they call it morning sickness either since you get it ALL DAY. What a stupid and misleading name. They should call it the seasick/food poisoning/hangover death blend. Grrrrr

My sister is hillarious!!
My sister is thinking of starting her own belly watch page over the Christmas period to track her progress. What a great idea! I think eveybody should do it.
What a week
Well - I had a hell of a week last week. Lost my passport and greencard right before I was due to come to the UK, and spent 2 days (and $500) driving around in a frenzy trying to get a replacement. James and I also closed on our house and started moving (moving sucks by the way) and I had my first Dr's appointment.
My doctor at Emory Eastside is really nice and said everything is looking good. The Dr's office was full of women with huge bellys - can't believe that's going to be me!! :0 I got some prenatal vitamins and other goodies and my next appointment will be Jan 10th. I get my first scan at that appointment - woo hoo.
