Found in the midst of chaos

When the movers lifted our couch, amid the dust bunnies, pens, loose change and hair bobbles, I noticed a scrap of paper. James' wedding vows! What a great thing to find during the stress and insanity of a move!

Baby 2 Update

I had a remarkably smooth start to this pregnancy. No symptoms what-so-ever, other than being hungry all the time, until about 7 weeks. Unfortunately it is smooth sailing no more. I am really nauseous ALL. THE. TIME. This is a nightmare when we are packing our house. Did I mention we are leaving tomorrow?

I got another ultrasound today. I could not believe the difference since last week. No wonder I feel like ass. I have been busy creating a person! Last week we saw basically a tadpole with a heartbeat. This week it was definitely a baby!

Meet Baby # 2

The first picture of our little monkey!!

James is calling BOY! He "had a feeling", which to be fair he had last time and he was right, so we will see.

We got to hear and see the heartbeat which was amazing :) Baby is measuring a little small (it is 0.6cm, so yeah...) so we go back next week to check everything is progressing ok!

England!!

Ana and Mummy have escaped the searing heat (and the house packing) and headed off for 2 weeks in England!

Ready to go, apparently one can never have too many toys on a airplane (grrr). Note the enormous pillow pal unicorn who didn't actually get used at all by Ana, although I did take advantage!

Tucked in safe and sound and riding in style

Ready to go

Daddy was very sad. I think half the airport was in tears watching him, in tears, saying goodbye to his girls.
So to save money we ended up buying flights that involve 2 changes. Needless to say I was dreading this a bit, but Ana was a complete dream! She was really good and didn't act up once. She even had a nice long sleep on the transatlantic leg. We also go bulkhead seats upgraded to Economy plus, so it was a great flight all around. There was a blip when we landed in London and silly Mummy crushed Ana's finger in the stroller. It was awful. I was so upset that Ana was actually trying to calm ME down. Flat finger and all.

We finally landed in Manchester and Grandad and Mimi were there to meet us. Ana was sooo excited and went running over to give Grandad a big hug!

Ana also had a special announcement to make :)

Baby number 2 will be arriving around the 8th March. We are rather shocked since we had put all fertility treatments on hold until we got settled in Springfield. So much for that! So far Mummy is feeling great :) Two blood tests revealed great HCG numbers, but it still hasn't really sunk in. Due to leaving for England I didn't get an ultrasound yet, but we'll get to see the little monkey as soon as I get back.

(p.s. it's still early days so don't mention it on Facebook or anything)
